International Pamphlets
Numbered Pamphlet Series

A series of numbered pamphlets published 1930 - 1937

In nearly all cases these pamphlets were scanned from the personal collection of Marty Goodman of the Riazanov Library Project. Markup – D. Walters from the Holt Labor Library and Marxists Internet Archive.

Some of these numbered pamphlets were reprinted by International Publishers long after the conclusion of the series of numbered pamphlets. Some are in some respects re-working of pamphlets published prior to the series of numbered pamphlets. In some of these cases we present the predecessor or successor pamphlets to the actual numbered series that is the focus of this digital archive.

In some cases, multiple editions of a numbered pamphlet were issued. Often the text content, the graphic content, or both changed somewhat as new editions were released, sometimes reflecting changes in the political viewpoint of the Communist Party over that period of time. We made very substantial effort in the creation of this digital archive to present as many as possible of the multiple editions of a given single numbered pamphlet. We believe we have here the vast majority of such, tho in a case like that of pamphlet number 14, “The History of May Day”, where 9 or more editions were printed, we were only able to get hold of and provide about 2/3 of the variant editions. Note that while often a later edition of a given pamphlet bears a later publication date, sometimes it does not.

We wanted to thank International Publishers as well for their kind cooperation in offering their help in providing the history and important details about this pamphlet series, published by them over 80 years ago. To access International Publishers please Click Here.
