Peking, November 25 (Hsinhua) – The universal significance of China’s great proletarian cultural revolution is proof that once the masses grasp Marxism-Leninism, it becomes an invincible material force, declares the Ad Hoc Committee for a Marxist-Leninist Party, U.S.A., in a statement on the Chinese cultural revolution.

The statement says: “The objective law of the development of class struggle makes clear that class struggle remains long after the victory of socialism. The law is applicable to China as it is to all socialist countries until the classless society is established. . .

“Chairman Mao Tse-tung and the Chinese people have rightly concerned themselves with how to prevent the restoration of capitalism and the emergence of revisionism. This is a question all Marxist-Leninists must solve both in theory and in practice. The statement acclaims that “the Red Guards are the shock force in this cultural revolution. They are the young people who study and learn from the works of Chairman Mao and rebel against old ideas and old customs.”

“The universal significance of this revolution is the proof that once the masses grasp Marxism-Leninism it becomes an invincible material force. Our task as Marxist-Leninists is to teach the masses revolutionary ideas. Once they grasp revolutionary ideas, their struggle will take direction, and in company with all workers the masses will become invincible and will tear down their prison of capitalist imperialism,” the statement declares.
